About ten years ago, the Lord spoke to Pastor Reza Safa about the future of the Middle East and a great revival that will take place there. Part of the vision he saw was of a TV ministry that would bring forth the Gospel to millions upon millions of unreached Muslims. At that time, he had no knowledge of satellite TV or even the possibility of it. The TV ministry became a reality in 2003 when Rouze Nejat (Day of Salvation) began airing on a secular Iranian station three times a week.
In the spring of 2006, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) began a partnership with Nejat TV, forming the TBN Nejat TV Network. Twenty-four hour broadcasting began on September 1, 2006.
As Iran becomes more and more of a threat to the West and Israel, God has raised up TBN Nejat TV as a strategic tool to put Iran on a different course. For the first time in history we are seeing a Muslim nation throwing off Islam and coming to Christ. We are in a time of harvest in Iran that has world-changing implications.
Between 70% to 80% or more of Iranians own satellite dishes, so millions of potential viewers have access to TBN Nejat TV. To date, thousands of calls have come in from viewers all over Iran, the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S. Praise God for the tremendous reach of this network for the Gospel!

Statistics:
* 110 million potential Persian satellite viewers * 70% to 80% of the population of Iran (75 million people) have access to satellite television Every day TBN Nejat TV reaches 110 million Farsi speaking households through two satellites and the web. 70% to 80% of the population of Iran (75 million people) have access to satellite television, this makes Christian satellite TV by far the most effective means of reaching Muslims for Christ. Over a million Iranians have come to Christ since just three years ago, mainly through Christian satellite broadcasts. Because of the Iranian government, ministries in the US are unable to send Christian reading material or even Farsi translation of the bible to Iranians who are desperately seeking a savior. TBN Nejat TV succeeds where traditional means of evangelizing fail, through satellite broadcasting and live streaming video on the web. |
