TBN Nejat TV: A Strong Base
Dear Beloved,
I apologize for not being able to communicate with you for the past month or so. I have been on the road non-stop. As the number of believers is growing exponentially among Iranians both in Iran and around the world, our responsibility is also growing. This puts an incredible demand on my time. Our greatest need of the hour is raising and training leaders and pastors. We ourselves can, by no means, take care of this massive harvest of souls that are being added to the kingdom of God daily through TBN Nejat broadcasts. Our need for a permanent Bible school facility in the Middle East is greater than ever before.
It seems as though God is putting us in a strong position of leadership in Iran. During all the recent unrest in Iran, we received more information from inside Iran than possibly any other organization that we know of. This is due to the fact that people in Iran are looking to us for leadership, not only spiritually, but also politically. I am careful not to take sides with any political group because no matter who they are, God desires their freedom as well. My purpose is to lead them all, good or bad, radical or moderate, on a path with Jesus.
When I was in California last week, the Lord spoke to my heart about teaching a series on leadership on TBN Nejat. I taught the first lesson on leadership today. It seemed as though the Lord was talking to the Iranian government through this teaching. So often, Christian leaders curse the people along with the darkness. We must separate between the spirits that lead people into the darkness, and the people. God loves the most evil person on this planet and He desires their freedom. As ministers of God, we are proclaimers of the Light. Light shines everywhere. Light never chooses where to shine nor on whom to shine. Christian leaders make a mistake by condemning these radical Islamic people. We can judge their ideology, but not the people because they operate according to the knowledge and the zeal they have.
Concerning spiritual leadership, a house can only contain as many people as its square footage. An organization is as strong as its financial base. Although we carry a tremendous leadership position in Iran, financially we are not there yet. So I have been talking to the Lord about this and meditating on 2 Pet 1:3. I refuse to appeal constantly to God's people for our need, promising them financial blessings and prosperity in return for their help. No, we must move, live, and have everything in Him and in the truth of His Word. I know this process is an uncommon approach, but you better buckle up because when God shows up, we will be set. And I know that our time of growth is at hand. To God be the glory.
Again thank you for loving this awesome Gospel of our God and Savior. Thank you for all you support and your prayers. And remember that every time there is trouble on the earth, we have an opportunity to shine big and bring glory to the Name of our Lord.
